IoT Gateways
IoT gateways can create by setting up of custom-built devices. It can connect the devices to the internet using the different modes of communications such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, NFC, iBeacon, etc. It enables devices to talk with each other.
Cloud Server
When the device information (data), such as, current status and the id of the device are received by the gateway, it stores and makes further processes in the cloud server. The data after the process use to accomplish the actions that in turn make the device work smartly.
IP Addresses
The communication protocol (IPv6, the latest version of IP) gives location system and identification of systems on networks and plays a vital role in IoT working. To communicate with another device, all the devices need to assign an IP address on the internet.
IoT Application
The IoT app administrator can control activities of device from any location at anytime. The IoT app helps administrator to communicate with smart device by sending commands (Cloud services enable to authenticate the device messages) that make possible to perform the given task to the device. Once cloud identifies the device, it passes the given request to the sensor network with the help of gateways. Then the sensor network performs the request and sends back to the cloud. Thus, the cloud recognizes the user who sends the request and gives the related information to the app.
